The Hankook RCM Cup field did not have much time to ponder on their battles in front of 60 thousand fans at the Hungarian WTCC event, as one week later they get the second adrenaline bomb. This time the young Hungarian one-make series partners the World Touring Car Championship on the Slovakiaring, which is only 150 km far from Budapest meaning a significant number of Hungarian fans are expected for the weekend.

Due to the tight program of the Slovakian WTCC round the RCM Cup guys run two 25 minutes free practices and also the qualifying on Friday. To make their life even harder, the complete Hungarian and Slovakian touring car field joined them for the FPs. Practically it meant the 120 BHP RCM Swift Racers shared the track with 400-500 BHP Porsche GT-s, and other more powerful touring cars. Not to mention the rain that hit FP1.

Nevertheless the RCM Cup field diligently collected miles on the technical track; FP1 was won by Dániel Nagy (RCM Motorsport) in front of Bálint Hatvani (Zsille Motorsport) and László Csuti (RCM), while Nagy, Hatvani, Gábor Tim (Apex Racing) was the order on the second free practice.

The qualifying practice was held late afternoon, where the RCM Cup guy had to share the track only with the other Suzuki cup field. Hatvani once again proved that he is in very good shape taking the pole position for the second time in a row. Tassi Attila scored a second place for the start of race one with his original car. The RCM Motorsport mechanics worked day and night for three days to repair his Swift Racer after a shunt on the Hungaroring.

The second row on the starting grid will be filled by the two championship contenders, Nagy and Tim, followed by the Csuti brothers. Gábor Kismarty was the best of the Gentleman Cup drivers, while Gábor Forrai won the Rookie Cup qualifying.

Race one grid:Race one is scheduled at 16:15 on Saturday.
