The time of resting is over the Hankook RCM Cup field is heading to the Pannóniaring where the fourth round of the championship will be held this weekend. Another episode of the hot battles between Dániel Nagy (RCM Motorsport), Gábor Tim (Apex Racing) and Bálint Hatvani (Zsille Motorsport) is expected, while the others will give their all to get closer to the dominant triumvirate. Moreover a young lady also joins the field for the Western-Hungarian round: Annamaria Abari, who comes from Hungary but now lives in the United States and will be a new member of the RCM squad.

Autosport is a completely new territory for the teenager driver however she has a serious background in other sports as she is swimming on a high level in the States. As a preparation she did loads of amateur karting in Miami, and travelled to Hungary a week before the race to test the RCM Swift Racer and learn from her two RCM Motorsport team-mates, Dániel Nagy and László Csuti.

foto abariverda1“She is getting better and better with incredible pace, she did a fantastic job on her very first day with the car. Together with Dani I tried to teach her everything she will need during the weekend, while our team manager Robi Kova analyses the telemetry data and the onboard footages with her.”

“It is easy to tell from her development that she has a background in sports, she has a very professional and humble attitude which enables her to learn very quickly. Besides being mentally prepared her physical fitness is a great asset too” – said RCM Motorsport driver/team principal László Csuti.

The American-Hungarian driver will be eligible to score points in the Rookie Cup, meaning Gábor Forrai (Apex) and Bence Pusztay (Zengő Motorsport) has to keep an eye on her very soon. Annamaria is facing a very tight schedule as she has to travel back to the States right after the races not to miss an important swimming event there. At the moment she is planning to do both sport on high level.
