We have already introduced a father-daughter pairing who enters the record 19-strong Hankook RCM Cup field on the Hungarian season finale, however not Anett György and Gábor György are the only ones to experience this special family situation. The Hungaroring will see the debut of another such pair: it will be the first race together for Vivien Miss and her father, János.

Although this time the father is the better known driver in this duet we keep ourselves to the etiquette, and start this introduction with the lady. It is further justified by the fact the Vivien’s career will be in the forefront of the family’s attention in the future.

She will start the RCM Cup season finale as an absolute newcomer, as she has only collected some experience in karting so far. The world of the Hungarian championship however is a familiar place for Vivien after attending almost all of his father’s races recently. She tried to take advantage of these opportunities to learn as much about racing as possible.

“So far I have only enjoyed racing sitting on the passenger seat beside my father. However, I also watched him racing closely and collected a lot of valuable information. Nonetheless, my only expectation for this weekend is to survive all three races as I still have a lot to learn” – said Vivien.

Do not let us misled by this modest approach as she takes racing very seriously and is planning to enter a Hungarian championship full year next season. And there are good chances that this series will be the RCM Cup.As already mentioned János Miss is the better known person of the two in the Hungarian paddock, although he neither has a long history in racing. He started his career this year in the Swift Cup Europe championship with Proex Racing.

“I started the year with the older 1.3 liter Swift and switched to the new 1.6 car after two rounds. So far I achieved mixed results, but I always keep in mind that this is my first season which is mainly about learning” – János explained.

His best result is a fourth position in both the 1.3 and the 1.6 category. He was close to the podium on recent races in Austria (Red Bull Ring) and Slovakia.

“It will be an interesting challenge to adapt myself to the 1.5 liter RCM Swift Racer which will be the third different car for me this season. I don’t have serious expectations, my main goal is to help Vivien as much as possible, and gain more experience” – he concluded.

The 2014 Hankook RCM Cup season ends this weekend on the Hungaroring with a triple-header.
