The 2015 Hankook RCM Cup calendar has been published which indicates better than anything else that the start of the new season is getting closer. De organizers almost did not have any time to celebrate the successful debut year as they started preparing the next one immediately, which - by their plans - will be a better, even more professional and hopefully very exciting season.

Due to the natural growth of the series, and the consequences drawn for the 2014 experiences there will be a few changes this year. One of the most important ones has already been announced: the calendar is expanded from six to seven events, and beside Hungary and Slovakia the RCM Cup field will visit Croatia and Austria this year.

The spectacular debut season spurred great interest among local teams towards the series. It has already been announced that one of the leading Hungarian squads, Proex Sport joins RCM Cup in 2015 with rally-convert Márk Somogyi amongst others. The newly established George Racing Team starts with a strong line-up after signing the 2013 Suzuki-champion Dániel Nagy from RCM Motorsport. Besides the young team of Gábor György can count on the expert advises of the freshly crowned Truck Racing European Champion Norbert Kiss.

RCM Cup organizers are still having discussions with two prominent Hungarian teams so the number of squads can possibly increase to seven.

Consequently the number of entrants is expected to increase significantly. RCM Motorsport, the team responsible for building the RCM Swift Racers announced to have 21 cars race-ready at the moment, and each of them is expected to participate in the championship. Moreover, due to the high level of interest more 1.5 Swifts are under construction at the moment.

There will be new categories too in 2015. The driver-favorite Gentleman category will be axed as there are not be enough eligible entrants this year. Its place is to be taken by the new Ladies category as the numbers of female entrants have risen to five. A new Teams Championship is also launched promising a great fight between some of the best Hungarian track racing squads.

And last but not least, with the special permission form the Hungarian Autosport Federation (MNASZ), the age limit of RCM Cup has been lowered to 12, which makes the series interesting for foreigner driver too, as it provides a professional and safe opportunity for kids to start gaining racecar experiences as early as possible.
