A brand new Hungarian based Central-European one-make series will be the support race of the two very popular regional WTCC rounds in Hungary and in Slovakia.

The previous evolution of the Suzuki Swift Sport will be equipped with a 1.5 liter VVT engine in RCM Cup resulting a 115 HP entry level racecar called the RCM Swift Racer.

RCM Cup aims to provide professional and affordable racing opportunities for emerging young and not-so-young drivers, and over 20 cars are expected in the first season. The 2014 field includes three previous Suzuki champions, among them the former ETCC driver Gábor Tim. They will be joined by young Mika Morien from Holland, who is coached by ROAL Motorsport driver Tom Coronel. An extremely low age-limit also makes the cup attractive for gokart drivers and those about to their car racing career.

skring2The WTCC races on the Hungaroring and the Slovakiaring are among the most important racing spectacles in the region and both run in front of packed grandstands. With its close door-to-door actions RCM Cup aims to add more thrill to these events. The series will have two 25 minutes + 1 lap race in each weekend.
